Variable dimensions; varnished iron, glass, engraving plates, video projection.

In 2005 it was presented an installation proposing a fusion between the artistic practices of engraving, sculpture and video. This work, titled Fractal, presents a hanged sculpture, composed by an iron-framed glass. The surface is used, simultaneously, both as a screen for video projection and as background to the collage of engravings. In its turn, the video projection shows footage of engravings’ images.
The theme of this work deals with the evolution of the human being and with the way human beings act in time and space. The installation represents a kind of map, an indicator of action, or a visual registration of the ephemeral occupation of a space.
