Had one day of sun sandwiched between two days of snow, so I took my cheap new Rokinon 35mm 1.4 out for a test drive around the backyard. Shot on a 5D Mark II with light craft fader ND on the lens. I used FCP 7 Smooth cam on two shots which left behind the tell-tale jello effect. All shots lightly color graded except the girl on the ice near the end is as shot in camera. The lens wide open does vignette a little which was accentuated a bit by my color grade, but I did not add any vignette in post. Also, what appears to be dark bands (extreme side vignetting) on some of the shots is from me pushing the fader ND too far in order to keep wide open and low shutter.
