The Screening - Diem
:: Replaced with H.264/AAC vers ::
This was my first real foray into video! Leicester based band 'The Screening' needed a music video and fast, 3 weeks till deadline, and no budget! The result was this - filmed in one weekend with a borrowed FX1e and an HV20, with a total cost of about £50. Sometimes i find it hard to watch because it looks so amateurish but other times I'm quite proud of what i did in a weekend with no crew or experience!

awesome video...
thanks,
Settings: Video: WMV 9, 2 pass, 25fps, Peak bitrate 5Mbps (average 3Mbps)
Audio: WMA10-Pro, 2-pass, 440kbps, 44kHz
Works for the majority of the time, but the two or three times its been important that the sound match exactly, it doesnt :( All the threads about this are months old so i think not many people are still experiencing the issue?
- also thanks for being nice!
for 1280x720, my settings in premiere is:
H.264/MP4 Average 5Mbps Peak 7Mbps
and comes out great.
it says its going to take a while, and then i have the crawl of uploading! but then, THEN we'll see!
you'll be happier with H.264/mp4 anyway, i promise :)
Encoding the audio at 44.1kbps should keep better time after Vimeo re-encodes. I don't see the original file here, but I bet you used 48kbps.
(also thanks for the encouraging words!)
thx!
wtf.
seriously
don't be embarrassed.
i like it a lot
