Strawberry Earth at the movies is the Dutch environmental film festival, with a difference.

100% of every euro spent at the festival (including tickets, drinks, food) went to making the festival venue, The Ketelhuis cinema in Amsterdam, The Netherlands, eco friendlier. The amount raised was over €11,000!

The film festival was opened by the Dutch Minister of Environment, Jacqueline Cramer, and the first film to be shown was the, now record breaking, The Age of Stupid film. The film's director, Franny Armstrong, was also live at the festival to answer people's questions.

Kick ass parties on both evenings with RedNose Distrikt, DJ Mamiko and DJ Sotu the Traveller also went down pretty damn well!

Strawberry Earth at the movies II is going to be bigger and better and raise even more money for the environment.
