"Twidgets" is a home video documenting Kristen and Heather Hagen's vacation to Norway in August, 2008. One of the things Koia is famous for is our gourmet sausages, which we purchase from a local butcher. Though Koia is closed for the Summer, the butcher shop is open, making it possible for the Twidgets to get a true taste of what my job at the mountain has been like. We take our time browsing the impressive store before driving to the base of Kvitfjell, where I show them around outside my wintertime apartment. A light rain is coming down, so we find a bench under an awning and prepare a feast of hot dogs, potato salad, chips and delicious Norwegian strawberries. By the time we are finished, the clouds have passed and the sun is out again, so we have a little fun on the ski lift adjacent to the apartment complex (pictures below).
