This 20 minute tutorial is the third part of the second "volume" of my tutorial series about manipulating After Effects 3D space with expressions.

Volume B deals with toWorldVec() and fromWorldVec(). This part introduces the concept of Elevation and Azimuth as a means to measure a vector with relation to a surface and forms the basis of the final part of this volume, where we'll be using vectors, elevations and azimuths to control lighting effects on a pseudo-3D surface.

Note: There's a little mistake at 8.45, where I'm describing the tangent function. The eagle-eyed amongst you will notice that the red side is the hypotenuse, not the adjacent side! That's what happens when you try to talk, think and demonstrate all at once...!
