In July of 2009 Climate Central's senior research scientist, Heidi Cullen traveled to Greenland with a production team from StormCenter Communications to visit the NEEM research project, where scientists are drilling into ancient ice for clues to future climate change. Here's a quick look at what they learned from the researchers—and also from the pilots from the 109th Airlift Wing who have the dangerous job of getting people and equipment into Greenland's harsh interior and back.
