Brigadier General Lein advocates for an aggressive approach towards integrating health and readiness into the U.S. military system. By integrating the two, Lein suggests we can work towards solving the problem of obesity becoming a national security issue. Citing examples of the U.S. Army’s initiatives, Brigadier General Lein will discuss his three main imperatives: sleep,nutrition, and activity.
