GRAPE Self-promo Project

Objective:
To greet marketing specialists, advertising experts and agency’s friends and wish them a happy New Year.

Solution:
Right in the middle of the pre-New Year fever we launched an online toy factory by means of a Facebook app. By using our cunstruction kit, users could create a unique model of a toy robot. Users could adjust the design by combining different parts and coloring them in 3D invironment. Large preset range allowed to choose not only body parts, but emotions as well.

After sharing the concept, users had to collect votes for their work. The most liked robots were produced with our “UP!” 3D printer. 10 most active users, were invited to the Grape New Year party, and got their robots in a New Year pack.

To build awareness we involved agency’s owned media (web-site and social media groups). The project had a huge viral media coverage among marketing specialists and people, employed in advertising industry.

Results:
40000 marketing specialists were awared about the project
1000 of them tried the app.
412 models were created
2000 likes were collected during the voting
over 15 professional articles covered the project
