COMM 338 - INTERMEDIATE NARRATIVE - EXERCISE#2: THE INTRUDER
The scene will involve two people who know each other and the introduction of a third party (the intruder) into the situation.

1. First you must establish the relationship between the two people, most likely some type of conflict.
2. Then the intruder enters and changes the dynamic between Parties 1 and 2.
3. The scene should then resolve itself with a change in the “conflict” brought about by the intruder’s
entrance.

In essence, there will be two main scene beats, three phrases.
The scene must be set in a single location and include scripted dialogue, which will help you maintain continuity as you shoot multiple takes from multiple angles. The script should be between 2-5 pp. with the edited scene about 2-4 minutes in length.
