This one is relatively recent. I used to shoot surfing whenever I could and Lyall Bay, close to where I lived was fairly fickle most of the time - a good sized wave being rare, this day however was fairly decent for Lyall.

This was shot on HD over a few hours. Even through it was summer in NZ at the time, it stills get pretty windy and cold out there next to the airport (if I panned the camera off to the left you would have seen planes landing about 50 metres away). As you can see, most of the guys are in full steamers, only a couple braved the day in board shorts.
