I walked around the block recording all the concrete corner joints in the sidewalk. I was hoping for some kind of moving minimalism to make music for.

    thanks
I'm just shocked at how crappy everything looks if it's not in Hidef.

Unfortunately this shape looks all wrong wide screen.

Even with compression flux, visual genius! Love the idea.

thanks. My back is killing me from stooping over 400 times to shoot all the corners.

    Love the current soundtrack.

Sort of agree about HD but also think image-quality is far back second-line compared to creativity and image-catching (must admit to possible bias because of not having an HD camera though... ;-) )

    Cool vid.
  • Alex Itin plus 2 years ago
you can use regular vid if you upload it in HD format (at least at the momet) and it does look a lot better, but not as good as true HD.

thank you for the hint - forgive a dopey question, but is there an option where I can select HD format for upload? I had a look but couldn't find one anywhere....

but fear my oldish Sony HC16E doesn't shoot widescreen... sigh
  • Alex Itin plus 2 years ago
yes but if you export to 12whatever by 720, the image can be cropped to fit the wide screen. You just have to shoot with that in mind.

Thankyou again Alex - just dropped you an email.

Wonderful! Very provocative. Im not convinced that your soundtrack is the best choice for these powerful visuals. Have you tried this using calmer tones?
