As soon as i saw the head of the 3d printer moving so fast i had to try the continuos tracking autofocus function of the new GH3. The shot is done with the Summilux 25mm f1.4 wide open. Handheld.
Note how well the autofocus is following the subject with such a narrow depth of field. I think this result is almost impossible to get with a manual follow focus.
