Before getting into the Pilates industry, I was a freelance business consultant and once in the industry, I used the same skills that helped me be successful as a freelance consultant to help me position my work and studio. From there and as early as 2004, I began offering the same thing to the broader industry when I was the first person in the industry to teach business development at PMA conference and in 2005 I was the first person to launch an "after market" finishing school.
