Mike McCall and I went to chase some schools of lowcountry redfish last Sunday, Feb 24th. Wind was blowing, negative low tide in store, and we took the Coral Bay, which is difficult to navigate thru the skinny water. Needless to say, our expectations were in check. As the tide was falling fast, we were nervous about getting stuck, so we couldn't quite get to the "spot" where we thought the fish were holding. We staked off for a few minutes, and fortunately we got lucky as several schools passed within casting range. We each convinced fish to eat our flies, high fives and fist bumps ensued, before shedding some layers and moving to another location to find more fish. Enjoy the footage...
