Professor Andrea Ann Curcio, Georgia State University School of Law, talks about her research on providing formative assessment through the semester and how it can lead to improved learning outcomes.
The video is part of a project, LegalED, to assemble tools for law professors interested in bringing more active learning and teaching of practical skills and professional values into the law school curriculum. The website will host a growing collection of short videos (each 15 minutes or less) on law and law-related topics so that we can begin to "flip" the law school classroom and devote more face-to-face class time for active, problem-based learning.
