Jaymosh, aged 22, is excited to be voting for the first time in a landmark election – Kenya’s first since the disputed 2007 poll that cost 1,200 lives. He hopes a new president will bring change. He’s unemployed – like 40 percent of young Kenyans – and struggling to make it in the music industry. Jaymosh is performing in trouble spots around Nairobi, hoping to prevent renewed bloodshed. “Kenya is not for one tribe. It is for all tribes,” he says.
