"Lappeland" a test video of my new GH3 and Nikkor 50 f. 1.8 aid prime. I also used the kit lens from panasonic for the establishing shots (12-35 f 2.8). I realized that using a rig is a really good idea with manual non O.I.S lenses (stabilization). New to DSLM photography i find it expremly awarding to use a GH3. I still have a lot of practice on the manual focus and find the manual nikkor lenses much easier to work with than the modern panasonic.
I almost didn't believe my own eyes when i saw the footage. There were almost no reason to mess with it in post, the dynamic range was great. This is miles i quality from old HD video camera.
By the way i recommend checking out Seb Farge and Andrew Wonder here on vimeo and dont miss the prime extremely long and boring but fantastic talks that Andrew form Drew network has on youtube. They inspired me.
