A short clip showing how I practice. Usually to music, and with loads of movement. The movement isn't arbitrary through - it's all breath-led. As I move into a posture, I can feel where my body is tight and resisting, I use my breath and small micro-movements like pelvis pulses to release any holding.
I've trained with Shiva Rea, and learning yoga from her was a revelation. I'd always felt guilty for practicing to music, as if it wasn't really yoga. Yet music helps to put me into a state of flow and openness. The yoga becomes playful and light. I love it!
