I thought I'd see whether persistence of vision could create colour that isn't in individual frames.

It would seem it couldn’t.

But the test ended up looking quite interesting.

    That is a really awesome idea. I'm curious how it would work without the hard edges...and at which frame rate the effect would be become totally invisible.

    It's just individual colours isolated from a photo with the contrast turned right up and the brightness at various levels.
