Back In The Days Project

The photo-book "Back In the Days" by legendary photographer Jamel Shabazz is the inspiration of an illustrated journey, and a project conceived by visual designer, art director and illustrator Farouq Samnani. The theme of the work is centered around the aesthetics of New York street culture in the early eighties and pays tribute to Jamel Shabazz and the pioneers of hip hop music.
