Yeah, some people ARE just as stupid now as they were in the 1970 - today, they manifest their stupidity in the form of climate change denial. I put denying the reality of human-induced climate change on par with paedophilia, and if or when the horror of it arrives along with the mob hysteria, the deniers will be among the first to pretend they never doubted the truth.

The movie does a great job of opening sleepy eyes.

A new report has come out entitled The Age of Consequences. The report was based on discussions of a group of senior luminaries with a wide range of expertise. Climate scientists Mike MacCracken and Bob Correll. Ralph Cicerone, head of the National Academy of Sciences. The group also included Nobel laureate Thomas Schelling, former CIA Director James Woolsey, former Chief of Staff to the President John Podesta, and former National Security Advisor to the Vice President Leon Fuerth. (Apparently not all group members, listed in the executive summary on page 8, got writing assignments, so not all of them are listed as authors.)
