An interactive videoinstallation referring to Marcel Duchamp´s birth and death locations. By moving the wheel of a replica of Duchamps sculpture "Roue de bicyclette", the viewer navigates through a movie from Blainville-Crevon (Normandie) to Neuilly sur Seine (Paris).
The movie was made with 2 cameras mounted on a bike, one looking forwards and the other one backwards. The cams constantly recorded the whole 8 hours trip. The distance between the two cities is approx. 160 kilometres.
