Some macro footage of an old lava lamp that I've had for nearly 25+ years. This begins with footage of the melted wax after it had"errupted" and then cooled when hitting the cooler oil. We then see the wax begin to remelt and form the floating "blobs". We end with the classic rising and falling blobs. Shot, slightly underexposed, with a Sony HDR-HC9 set with its white balance on "indoor" mode. Macro footage is either with the lens in "tele-macro" mode or with a Century Optics 2.5 diopter closeup lens on the camera while using the optical zoom on the camcorder. Music and some minor video noise reduction done with Pinnacle Studio 12 Ultimate.
