I recently had the great pleasure of attending the wedding of two of my best friends, Louise and Max. I’ve known these guys for over a decade, so being able to be with them while they tied the knot was truly awesome. A beautiful ceremony, incredible food, free flowing wine, the most amazing people and plenty of laughter made this one of the best days I’ve had for a very long time.
So a little while ago, Lou asked me to sort out a ‘Photo Booth’ for the reception to capture the evening after the official photographers had left. Now I’ve been to weddings with photo booths before and they’re great fun, but I wanted to do something a bit special. I didn’t want people to take one photo of themselves, I wanted people to take dozens.
Once I’d set up the gear and explained my idea to the guests, I was able to leave everyone to have fun photographing themselves with the dress-up stuff I’d brought along. 2500 photographs later, I had enough to make this video.
The music is a track called 'Forever and Ever Amen' by The Drums.
