Clemens Schmid winner of second race of Porsche GT3 Cup Challenge Middle East
In the round 10 of Porsche Porsche GT3 Cup Challenge Middle East organized today at Losail International Circuit, the fastest driver was again Clemens Schimd. The Austrian driver only needed four laps during the qualifying practice to get the pole position for the Race 2 of the weekend. The second place of the grid was for the saudi driver Abdulaziz Al Faisal. The Danish driver Christina Nielsen in the silver category got the fifth best place and she started from the third row in the grid.
As the same scenario than yesterday, Clemens dominated all the race from the beginning until the end battling very hard with Abdulaziz Al Faisal who ended in second position. The third place in the podium was again for the german driver Markus Pommer.
In the silver category, the female driver from Denmark Christina Nielsen finished in first place in her category whereas Faisal Bin Laden from KSA and Mohammed Mattar from Bahrain were second and third respectively. In the bronze category, the winner was Manfred Ender from Austria and the lebanese driver Ziad Ghandour was second and Jaber al Khalifa from Bahrain was third.
