As part of International Women's Day, the Center on Emerging and Pacific Economies hosted a panel featuring six professional women in the fields of IT, government affairs and consulting. The panelists addressed the obstacles and opportunities faced by women who pursue a professional career.
Professor Mandy O’Neill from George Mason University presented thought-provoking research on workplace backlash against power women and the need to self-monitor in critical situations. These findings were debated among the panelists who each brought their own international work experience to the table as company founders, CEOs, senior managers, consultants, and mentors.
