Can't wait to get pricing on this baby. Looks really handy! (pardon my pun)

I think that's why Patrick and I get along so well...we're both a bit goofy :-)

    Cheers,

Dennis, you guys may be goofy, but boy you both come up with some amazing stuff...I love how closely you work with SM. They really know what they need in the field, and I bet that helps you design your products. Great stuff!

You're quite right..the SM crew is constantly pushing their creative envelopes which meshes perfectly with our philosophy. We've expanded this type of relationship (recall the f/8 summit) with an amazing group of guys/gals including Ray Roman, Joe Simon, Kevin Shahinian, Casey Warren and Trammel Hudson. Each of them, in their own way is contributing a great deal in terms of product refinement. You'll find many names added to the list in the next year as we continue to engage with the most important folks in this whole operation...our customers.

Really appreciate the early sneak peek on this without an ultra slick 'promo'. Lifetime warranties - wow, reminds me of another great Canadian company Bryston. I plan to be on your customer list very soon. Thanks again!

I had to watch this a few times because I get past 0:26-0:28 without laughing my head off.

Question, on the first rig shown. I think I am correct in saying that that is part of the Casey Warren Rig that you have for sell on your site, does it allow for your follow focus and handles? It doesn't look like it leaves much space, even if you were to bring the base back a little. Also, do you sell the offset shoulder base and pad by themselves? I am thinking about getting the Casey Warren Rig, I just want to be able to have handles, follow focus, and a shoulder add-on.

Ben, Casey's rig uses the Proteus Cage and yes, can accept our handles, shoulder rig and follow focus. This level of flexibility is part of our design philosophy, allowing users to switch modes (slider, to shoulder, to tripod, to Steadicam) in less than 10 seconds per transition. We do sell the shoulder add-on kit separately, a common request for folks who had purchased the original version. Medusa is the new "cage" that we're working on launching in 3 weeks or so. Calling it a cage is rather misleading though as it represents a whole lot more.

Awesome!!! I can't decide what I want. I guess the decision is going to be tightly linked to how much I have in my wallet after I get my 7d. Really awesome stuff you are cranking out for these DSLRs... I mean, you can really be proud.

Can you send me a link to where I can buy the a handle set and an offset shoulder base and pad?

Um is there enough space for a follow focus with that big-rig?
