We are celebrating the Bauhaus Movement’s 90th anniversary. “Lipuma with a Camera” is my homage to Dziga Vertov's “Man With A Movie Camera”. I crafted my silent short to a 90 second play [00:01:30].

I walked down Elston Avenue (60618), and used my neighborhood for the location. I had no structured narrative in mind. Vertov's, rapid film editing and shooting style, has always fascinated me. His ground breaking film was surprisingly edgy modern for it’s time. It’s power dynamic’s and energies, compelled me to go forward, to explore Vertov’s vision.

Dziga, I attempted to do you justice, you’re a very hard act to follow.
