My family and I are debating changing our herd to grass-fed and what I like most about CUD is the way decision making process is unfolded going from old school hormone pumping to a more humane lifestyle for the cattle. Great video, Joe.

I had the honor to visit Will Harris' Farm twice. This man is really a farmer, not a factory owner like most others in the US and Europe these days. And a man with a vision. My deepest respect.

Will Harris is running a great operation and definitely someone to be emulated! If you are interested in learning more about grass feeding or grass finishing, join us at grassfednetwork.com and consider attending an event through grassfedexchange.com. You will be glad you did! :-)

Like Joe Salatin, Will Harris is a leader in the new food revolution that is occuring in this country. The market for GFBeef continues to grow. I am the Executive Chef for the Department of Education in NYC and we are actively starting to source GFB for our system this fall. Joe York I consider to similar to those who ventured out into the south recording our musical heritage and discovering masters of roots music like Leadbelly etc. But he is doing it with food - uncovering the heroes of our food culture who are genuine in their love of traditional ways of raising and preparing food.

I loved this film. Saw it on Georgia Public TV. I subscribe to all of farmer Harris beliefs, including the wine :o)
