The Joint National Committee for Languages is a national policy organization concerned with language and international education. The National Council for Languages and International Studies is its public advocacy arm. Every year for the past 25 years, JNCL and NCLIS have held a Legislative Day and Delegate Assembly in the nation's Capital. Representatives of JNCL-NCLIS' 65 member organizations visit Members of Congress and their staff to discuss issues important to language professionals.
