Best Baltic jibbers from Latvia, Estonia and Lithuania gathered in Kuutsemae snowboard park last saturday and celebrated snowboarding at its finest – sunny day, good level of riding and really nice park setup.
Morning was not so nice with temperature dropping below -10 but as soon as the sun kicked in it was all plain sailing, sunnies out, grills cooking and almost 70 riders were ready to show the best they got.
The 15 and under division was dominated by last years Volcom PBRJ European finals 3rd place Nauris Putenis from Latvia who was looking like a dinosaur amongst the other guys…but sharp enough to do moves like front flip to rail, bs 360 to rail etc. Check him out at the Avoriaz finals – bombing!
Girls level of riding is getting better every year in Baltics! Some really nice rail tricks … and bails from the girls division were some of the highlight of the day this year. Check out the video.
The 16 and over division really heated things up before the OPEN group. Boys were throwing some quality tricks and sunshine was at its highest point.
The open division gathered most of the Baltics rail talent so the level was high. Check all the mad skills in the video and pics. We had great time in Estonia this year! Thanks Volcom, Surfhouse Estonia and Kuutsemae resort for hosting the event. See you all in Avoriaz or just on the slopes around in Baltics…its spring shredding time! Have fun!
