Fish farming provides local fresh food products and employment. The fish towers are powered by sustainable ramp pumps.
Part of rebuilding is getting the business community back in shape.
A set of beach restaurants and shops in re-purposed shipping containers will create new economic opportunities for small businesses. It doesn’t take a lot of money to create a local vibrant space. A temporary incubator for food, art and retail will bring life and activity to the Rockaways.
A floating arena for concerts and events will become a new attraction for the local community and tourists.
