What do you do when a patron with a legal problem asks for help? Do you know that self-help legal information and forms can be found online? Do you know the organizations in Montana that can provide legal help?
Christine Mandiloff, Community Legal Education Attorney at Montana Legal Services Association, will help to answer these questions and others about assisting library patrons with legal problems. Christine will discuss where to find self-help legal information on-line; what self-help court forms are available; how to give legal information to patrons without crossing the line into giving legal advice, and what resources are available to patrons who need more help.
