ZENSUI NARITA “成田禅水”
For several decades, Zensui Narita, who loves Japanese traditional art ” 刺青 IREZUMI ” , has depicted his spirit and soul on his art as a contemporary IREZUMI art. Unlike western tattoo arts, “見切り(MIKIRI)”, know as the traditional IREZUMI technique, apparently distinguishes the part on a body that has paint and thatdoes not, This exquisite balance represents the unique atmosphere in IREZUMI art fields. This technique originated in 1603 also know as the EDO period, to hide the IREZUMI behind their clothing so that other people cannot see it. He was influenced by those beauties of color saturation and design balance, and by several ways, he converts those techniques to his pop art as NEO JAPAN ART.
In Japan, he had been famous as a custom painter who paints pictures on several types of vehicles such as cars or motor bikes since he was young and he has been exploring a new style of ethnical Japanese arts. He utilized those experiences, knowledge, and techniques to paint pictures on canvas or any structures with a theme in his mind that he gets every moment. We would be pleased if you enjoy his skillful and beautiful Neo Japanese Art.
