Hear the evolution of man with the support of surrounding flora and fauna. Give and Take begins with what SonicAtomics considers sounds of the earth: magma rising and lava exploding. The names of the tracks that collaborate with Denver’s piano colors and add meaning to this composition: Volcano Voices 2 & 5, Dog Barking, Cluck a Duck: Bad Bird, Pan Flooding, Lobby Voices, Silver-Hairs Talking, Plane Crickets. Give and Take is one of Anders' favorite Lava Songs., an audio collage that tickles his imagination. The visuals are views from Sheepy Ridge overlooking Tule Lake Basin and what was once Lower Klamath Lake and now Lower Klamath National Wildlife Refuge. Farmer In The Dell reinterpreted. A beautiful small plane flyover- nice slow evolving spatial pan. And Denver loves that bird on the left side singing 1/8th note triplets in perfect sync. Gets him going every time he hears it.
