We came with an idea ... why dont we film ''Walk on'',travelling around the 51 counties of Greece ...;"
We lit ...one more cigarette, we filled with some more coffee our cups and at dawn we said yes to a mad idea ...
We equipped ourslelves with 3 sleeping bags we bought from the market, an mp3 stereo that didnt had pause button and piece of polystyrene to block the sun from the face.
We started with boat trip in the beautiful island of Crete.
With joy and anxiety about the final outcome,we tried dailyt to film as many counties we could.
About 4,500 road miles,98 tunnel passings and several tolls and ferry tickets,filming from the fist morning light till dawn,and traveling at night to save time.
Without a plan or an certain idea of ''what and where'' we managed to finish filming Greece in 19 days.
We always asked the locals informations and directions about where to flim. People who heard the whole story of what we were trying to do,we were seeing joy and optimism all over their faces.,that gave us more strenth to carry on.
Finally,we undrestood that to film something beautiful in Greece is just too easy..
Rightfully so there is the phrase that "we live in the most beautiful piece of land on the planet" and so obvious the answer to the question why "some people" want this country so bad ...
