Spent two days at the three day Air-Show. All weekend the weather reports said it would be a complete downpour and yet not a drop! :)

Because I spent two days I got plenty of footage that I wanted to use yet couldn't use it all even in this lengthy 6 minute version. So a second version is in the works to another song.

The zap-strapping of the remote is best explained here:

It was a quick unattractive MOD/DIY so that I could have one hand stabilize the tripod head. That way it wouldn't jerk while panning and tilting. It also let me keep up with the planes and adjust the LCD screen. That way I could see what I had in frame. Mainly keep it in frame.

Please explain the "fake true fluid head" statement.Which model and head are you using on your tripod? Very smooth camera work.

My tripod head is really cheap, and merely has the print on the side "Fluid". As it moves it is inconsistent, and has minor bumps while tilting.
Although it gets the job done! and I cut out most of the ruined jumpy footage due to the head. Otherwise its amazing for anything else.

Excellent video! The colors were excellent. How much of the color was adjusted in post? Some of the in-air shots have very nice warm grey/yellow tone to it.

Also, how did you get some of the side shots? Were you in an airplane a some point?

Actually, there was no color correction! Though the photos on the right of this page have been enhanced.
And it was all done from a tripod on the ground!

Kept it on Sunset actually, thats where i got the lovely color from on the second day. Other wise first day i kept it on cloudy. and I did a manual white balance. That was about it.
