Meet (and adopt!) the dogs in this video:

Play groups are an important part of enriching the lives of shelter dogs - we include any dog that is comfortable socializing in a group and never deny a dog the opportunity to play because of the way they look or their breed label!

Bernice Clifford, our Behavior and Training Director says, “Socializing the dogs in groups provides both mental and physical stimulation for the dogs. When the dogs are satisfied this way, their stress levels go down and they show better in their kennels. Dogs who show better go home faster. Play groups also help the staff and volunteers get to know the dogs better and, therefore, can make better dog-dog and family matches.”
