Lesley Punton's videos
This work was made by 2009 GSA Graduate, Valdemar Leisner and was a sculptural piece which invited viewers to place a drawing on the surface of a vertical tank of water. The ink on the drawings bled, and the paper disintegrated and disolved into the murky void below.

    En même temps, il ne faut pas rêver, ce n'est jamais que la relecture de Scrittura brucaria de Gilberto Zorio, en 1968.

    Juste un peu de technologie en plus. Zorio demandait aux personnes d'écrire à l'encre sympathique et de laisser tomber leur feuille sur une plaque de cuivre incandescente.

    'Après avoir écrit, on laisse tomber la feuille de papier sur la plaque incandescente : l'inscription apparaît puis s'efface, carbonisée.'
