Nice ! I first didn't recognize your avatar, ahah ! Why so much driftwood in the sea ? Is that linked to that boat accident transporting some wood (don't remember the details)
And thumb up for the choice of music
  • Andy Galletly 8 months ago
Yup, it was off a boat on its way to Shorham docks i think. I wasn't really expecting to see it, there really is a lot of wood.

not sure about the avatar, i might have to change it again

Such a fine line between conceptual art and a shipping disaster. Looks great.

if only the rubber duck incident had happened here, that would have looked ace

    (a quick google reveals i might get my wish! > pranks.com/2007/09/05/quack-quack/ )

Lucky Duck, but I think the wood is more "sophisticated"

i totally wasn't expecting this when i saw "driftwood", but it is oddly beautiful. certainly the music does enhance this. nice choice.

I wish I'd got there sooner, there was a lot more of it by all accounts

  • Wow this is unreal
  • Andy Galletly 8 months ago
    Yea, it was pretty crazy.
They've cleaned most of it up now, it should be safe to swim in the summer.

I remember a storm in Brighton when the following day, we went to the beach and it was covered in dead crabs and starfish....thousands of them. The seagulls went a bit bonkers with all the "free" grub.

I totally missed the wood 'delivery' on the coast, i was out of town for most of the week and when i got back... the majority of it was gone! oh well... here hoping for a booze ship to unload it's contents on the seafront!

Really liked the opening shot... but then i'm a sucker for sea.
