This short video is of Wade and I riding the Barr trail which climbs 7,300 ft to the top of Pikes Peak standing tall at 14,115 ft. 100% single track. Coming down from the top we were both so fatigued we could barely control our bikes, but we regained some energy when we hit tree line. It must have been the oxygen rich air down at 12k that gave us new life to enjoy the super fun terrain! We finished just as the sun set. Long day on the bikes. Wade was on a 38lb coil sprung Intense Uzzi, I was on a Nomad with 2.5 tires and flat pedals. Not really the best machines for a 7,300 foot climb, but perfect for the 7,300 ft DH!
