It's a stunning bike, but where are the head and tail lights? Are the brakes wireless? If so, what happens when the batteries get low? Or are they routed inside the frame? How hard is it to replace them? Is the rear fender long enough to prevent getting a skunk-stripe in the rain? Is there any way to attach panniers? The rack seems awfully short, and without vertical stays or any obvious place to hook things near the rear hub, it looks like it would be difficult.

I saw your design ages ago on bicycledesign, but just ran across it again today and was even more impressed with it. Your thoughtful and inspired design is all at once innovative and restrained. It is all the more impressive, in this age of over-hyped "concept renderings" that you actually prototyped much of your ideas. All the best to you, and I hope this has landed you a fantastic job.

@Fytze--this is a beautiful video and a beautiful bicycle. What are you up to these days?

@atomicsmith @flykly Thanks for the compliments! I have my own bicycle design studio now. Better google my name for more recent projects, because my website is still very outdated at the moment. vanmansum.nl
