What starts like an abstract film ends with a big surprise. I didn't ever expect this was done with MovieStorm. Love the 'Reveal' theme and the music builds up just the right tension. Doesn't the world sit on top of a turtle? :)
Interesting... the end reminded me of why I sometimes don't even want to think about responsibility... I could empathize with the expression on his face. :)
It's about the birth of psychoanalysis. Until that time we never realised how many problems we really had :) Either that or Phil Rice played with building blocks as a kid too much and didn't get enough fresh air :) Fantastic music too!!!
cool Phil, verrrry cool. To me this is 100% about the pressure and responsibility you feel trying to maintain your life with a family. Things are often times disjointed and unorganized, but all the time they are the way you made them. I feel you brother!
That was fantastic. Just when I was about to lose interest, it reveals itself in a complete surprise!
I did like the expression on the man’s face (especially because of what preceded it – the abstract figures), but loved even more the presence of the other man (not to give away too much). Yes, it feels very psychodynamics to me too. I had no penis envy, but envy of our own id!? :)
Upon further reflection:
The tags lead us to a whole different interpretation, a political one. Or rather, political ones because I could come up with two completely different ones.
I want to stick to the non-political interpretation. I loved that one.
I had to watch this twice. The first time I was so entranced by the sound & vision, the reveal took me by complete surprise.
Stunning, and I honestly mean I was stunned, scoring. So atmospheric and visceral.
Atlas was going to leave Hercules the job of holding the world up forever before Hercules fooled him and got Atlas to hold it once more.
