Some tests with black and white. It’s easy to remove the color to create B&W images. Lighting does need to be different when you are grading color to B&W. A nice tutorial on lighting for B&W is here: theslantedlens.com/2012/shooting-digital-black-white-a-lighting-tutorial

I was looking for a B&W picture profile and found a sample here (vimeo.com/39140086) but the author never gives the details of the settings. It seems to me that some colors could be handled in the picture profile to make them stand out better in B&W. Like the electronic equivalent of using a red/orange/yellow filter with B&W film.

I do need to test a polarizer.

Anyone have ideas for super B&W that looks like luminous Ansel Adams photographs?
