The human history of violence and wars.

The innocent children, everyday victims of this terrible heritage...
This film was made in 1970 (Vietnam war, Kennedy's assassination, first man on the moon etc) and it was a 3 Stars winner at the London Ten Best Festival (1971), while in 1972 its participation at the Salonika (Greece) professional cine festival was censored by the dictatorship. Later on it was shown on the National TV and at many cine clubs, where its avant-garde shooting, was extensively discussed by the filmmakers and the audience !

This film maintains its originality even to-day, nearly 40 years after it was made, and it is suitable for all times, especially ours...

The children were Sophia Xoundra and Olivier Dubois.

Η ανθρώπινη ιστορία βίας και πολέμων
Τα αθώα παιδιά, καθημερινά θύματα αυτής της φοβερής κληρονομιάς...
Αυτή η ταινία έγινε το 1970 (πόλεμος Βιετναμ, δολοφονία του Κέννεντυ, πρώτος άνθρωπος στο φεγγάρι κλπ) και πήρε 3 αστέρια στο κινηματογραφικό φεστιβάλ TEN BEST του Λονδίνου (1971), ενώ το 1972 η δικτατορία δεν επέτρεψε την προβολή της στο φεστιβάλ Θεσσαλονίκης. Αργότερα παρουσιάστηκε στην Ελληνική Τηλεόραση και για χρόνια παιζόταν σε cine-clubs, καλλιτεχνικές συγκεντρώσεις και ειδικές προβολές κινηματογράφων τέχνης (περίοδος 1970-85). Η πρωτοποριακή της φόρμα γυρίσματος και μοντάζ, είχε προκαλέσει εκτεταμένες συζητήσεις μεταξύ των ειδικών και του κοινού.
Αυτό το φιλμ είναι διαχρονικό και διατηρεί την φρεσκάδα και πρωτοτυπία του μέχρι σήμερα 40 περίπου χρόνια μετά τη δημιουργία του.
Βλέπεται σαν να έχει γυριστεί τώρα, επειδή χαρακτηρίζει όλες τις εποχές και ιδιαίτερα τη δική μας...
Τα παιδιά ήταν η Σοφία Χούνδρα και ο Ολιβιέ Ντυμπουί.

    Thanks for posting! Interesting but the fast sequence of pictures are giving me a headache, why did you do it that way?
    BTW children can be pretty agressive too, it just usually is a bit harder for them to get a gun... It's too easy to declare children 'innocent' without being clear what you mean with that.

    My dear w.pasman, this is violence and the movie is allegorical, so you have to give, for your self, the meaning of what you are watching..or what you are feeling (even a headache!).
