Directed by Glendyn Ivin, PARADISE is a film/clip based around rock legends Magic Dirt's experimental 'noise' album Roky's Room (2007).
Inspired by the band's uncompromising approach to the music, we set about creating a film that not only highlights the intensity of the sound, but takes the noise genre to a whole new visual level.
Shot in an old Brunswick factory the film/clip not only features the band, but a visual and historical documentation of centerfold pornography that the factory workers had 'wallpapered' the walls with over the last thirty years.
The clip above includes parts 1 and 2. Part 3 is visually quite 'explicit' and perhaps not appropriate for Vimeo and it's guidelines... A DVD will be available soon.
