On July 26, 2009 the South Carolina Aquarium Sea Turtle Rescue Program released three rehabilitated sea turtles back into the ocean. Hundreds of onlookers gathered on Kiawah Island to watch these turtles swim out to sea and begin their second chance at life in the open ocean. Open Dome Productions is proud to have been there to document this wondrous event and is grateful to the SC Aquarium for letting us take part in it.
