
Reprise of my OOPSLA '06 talk

This is a talk I gave at OOPSLA 2006 reprised at MAYA Design.
I believe that HTML, while technically inferior, had a very interesting attribute of simplicity. Due to this attribute, it succeeded in empowering non-technical people participate in the conversation on the Web. However, the simplicity is mostly lost in the weeds of technology it has accrued since. In this talk I propose a new way of bringing back the simplicity of the Web while retaining the technical sophistication of modern technologies.
