Luke 24:5-6 (NKJV)

“THE EXTRAVAGANT EXCHANGE”

5 Then, as they were afraid and bowed their faces to the earth, they said to them, “Why do you seek the living among the dead? 6 He is not here, but is risen! Remember how He spoke to you when He was still in Galilee, - Luke 24:5-6 (NKJV)

HIS BIG THREE STATEMENTS THAT LIVE TODAY

1. HE RESURRECTED
And He began to teach them that the Son of Man must suffer many things, and be rejected by the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and after three days rise again. – MARK 8:31 (NKJV)

And with great power the apostles gave witness to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus. And great grace was upon them all. – ACTS 4:33 (NKJV)

That I may know Him and the power of His resurrection, and the fellowship of His sufferings, being conformed to His death, - PHILIPPIANS 3:10 (NKJV)

2. HE REVISITED
6 “Don’t be alarmed,” he said. “You are looking for Jesus the Nazarene, who was crucified. He has risen! He is not here. See the place where they laid him. 7 But go, tell his disciples and Peter, ‘He is going ahead of you into Galilee. There you will see him, just as he told you.’” – Mark 16:6-7 (NIV)

19 My dear friends, if you know people who have wandered off from God’s truth, don’t write them off. 20 Go after them. Get them back and you will have rescued precious lives from destruction and prevented an epidemic of wandering away from God. – JAMES 5:19-20 (Message)

3. HE RESTORED
33 But a certain Samaritan, as he journeyed, came where he was. And when he saw him, he had compassion. 34 So he went to him and bandaged his wounds, pouring on oil and wine; and he set him on his own animal, brought him to an inn, and took care of him. 35 On the next day, when he departed, he took out two denarii, gave them to the innkeeper, and said to him, ‘Take care of him; and whatever more you spend, when I come again, I will repay you.’ – LUKE 10:33-40 (NKJV)
